Thank you to the Pokagon Fund Grant for the opportunity to take our 4th-grade students to the Michigan Historical Museum and State Capitol Building! This trip perfectly supplements our Michigan History curriculum, making our studies come to life. Our students gained a deeper understanding of our government, including the branches and how checks and balances work. We're grateful for this enriching experience!
SCHOOL LUNCH HERO DAY
Middle School students recognized our cafeteria staff by signing and delivering a special Hero banner to them. School Lunch Hero Day is dedicated to those men and women who make the cafeterias and the schools a better place to be! Thanks to all of the NBAS' cafeteria workers for all you do to make our school a great place to be! #SchoolLunchHeroDay

New Buffalo Area Schools Board of Education Meeting, Monday, April 22, 2024, 6:00 p.m. in the PAC.
The HS quiz bowl team had a strong finish to our season this week. This past Saturday we were at Michigan State University for the State Finals. We finished 9th in class C/D. Last night we competed in the WSJM Academic Challenge Championship Playoffs. We finished 1st in the WSJM regular season and faced off against the 2nd place team, Berrien Springs. We played well but came up just short against a tough Berrien Springs squad. We have an amazing group of students and I couldn’t be prouder of what they accomplished this year!
1st Place – Berrien County Quiz Bowl League
1st Place – WSJM Academic Challenge Regular Season
2nd Place – WSJM Academic Challenge Championship Playoffs
9th place – Michigan Class C/D Quiz Bowl State Finals
